Nokia says handset market to slow, share to rise | CNET News.com

The world's largest mobile phone maker, Nokia, expects slowing mobile phone growth in 2005 but plans to launch more handsets next year and take market share, the firm said on Thursday.

"Nokia aims to increase its competitiveness by broadening its product portfolio and launching approximately 40 new mobile devices in 2005," it said in a statement for its capital markets day. The firm aims to launch 35 phones in 2004.
