Update on RUXCON 2005

What is it: RUXCON is a conference organised by and for the Australian computer security community. It is an attempt to bring together the individual talents of the Australian scene, through live presentations, activities, and demonstrations.

When is it: Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of October 2005!

Where is it: The venue will be UTS once again.

Cost: $50 for the 2 day weekend
(MITS will be subsidising all members who wish to attend this event. The subsidy is to be determined but may vary from $5-$25 depending on the funding we have available.)

MITS Reimbursement Procedure:

  1. Inform MITS (via email) that you are going to attend Ruxcon.
  2. ASK Ruxcon for a receipt when you pay them.
  3. Inform MITS that you have attended and have a receipt.
  4. Schedule a time to meet with someone from MITS to receive your reimbursement.
  5. Give us the receipt.
